Enjoy it now, or cellar for a few years. No need to decant before serving. Petite Fleur is the newest addition to the Fleur de Miraval range, opening with aromatic notes of small white flowers, juicy red berries, and a blast of citrus fruit. It is crafted from 95% Chardonnay and just 5% of Pinot Noir, imparting a beautiful pale pink colour, and an inimitable taste of the Côte des Blancs. Fleur de Miraval is a collaboration of three parties: the Perrins, who are a fifth-generation winemaking family, the Péters family, who bring knowledge of the Champagne region, and Brad Pitt, who lends his significant reputation and a deep passion for rosé champagne. The winery itself is located in the village of Correns, and sources its fruits from famous plots in Mesnil-sur-Oger and Vertus. Petite Fleur is a juicy Champagne wine, exploding with notes of tart redcurrant, wild raspberry, lemon rind, mandarin, and pure chalky minerality. It is fresh and playful in the mouth, with a light, airy mousse, and a sapid finish. Before release, it spent three years ageing on the lees, imparting a rich, textured mouthfeel. Consider pairing this rosé with summer salads, a diverse cheese board, or a sophisticated seafood dish.
