In the 1970s, Michel left the family estate to begin his own champagne cellar, gradually expanding to famous regions such as Bordeaux, and becoming one of the most renowned wine-makers in France. This is a "blanc de blancs" champagne, created from 100% Chardonnay. It has a wonderfully round, textural palate, with a tart and extremely dry character.
