The duo searched high and low for the ideal terroir to found their project in the Napa Valley before finally hitting on this Paso Robles property which had the prized soil conditions and climate they were seeking. Described as "a jewel of ecological elements" aby legendary Californian winemaker André Tchelistcheff, the 212 acre estate is located in the Adelaida District of Paso Robles. This area offers a unique combination of Napa-like climatic conditions and limestone-rich soils similar to those found in many of France’s top vineyards. These exceptional conditions allow the Daou brothers to create stunning Bordeaux blends combining Old World elegance with a touch of New World vibrancy and innovation.
